Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

My love for baking began at home in Montgomery, Alabama, as a teenager. My parents were excellent chefs and previously owned their own restaurant, New Elite Cafe in Montgomery. So, I grew up always having great delicacies in the house. I guess my culinary skills came naturally. I loved sweets and enjoyed baking my own brownies, cookies, cakes, and pies. I collected recipes from family and would try them at home. Now, I keep their memories alive every time I bake their special dessert.

Our Story

My professional career in Information Technology spans over 40 years. Having recently retired as a Software Testing Engineer, I decided to seriously pursue my love for baking as my own business. Even though I have been fulfilling family and friend requests for many flavors of cakes throughout the years, I just recently decided to turn my craft into a business.

At first thought, you might think that my career has little or nothing at all to do with baking cakes. But, when you think about it more, there is actually a lot of similarity. Both require attention to detail, following steps to accomplish the end result, ensuring customer satisfaction, and delivering a quality product.
